STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford will begin spring practice Tuesday at the Elliott Practice Fields. Tuesday's practice will kick off the first of two spring sessions, commencing with the Cardinal and White Spring Game on April 15 at Cagan Stadium on campus. The game will be televised live at 1 p.m. PT on Pac-12 Networks.
The Cardinal and White Spring Game is open to the public. Admission and parking is free.
Stanford's practices on March 4 (10-12:20 p.m. PT), March 12 (11:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.) and April 8 (TBD) will be open to the public.
The first session of spring practice concludes March 12, and after the University's finals week and spring break, the second session will begin April 3. Dates and times for the second session's open practice will be announced later.
Stanford's NFL Pro Timing Day is slated for March 23. The field events at Elliott Practice Fields are open to the public starting at 11:15 a.m.
Michael Rector, Conrad Ukropina, Christian McCaffrey and Solomon Thomas will take part in the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. The combine will be televised from March 3-6 on NFL Network.
The NFL Draft takes place April 27-29 in Philadelphia.
Last season, Stanford extended a school-record with its eighth straight bowl appearance, the longest streak in the Pac-12. The Cardinal then capped its sixth 10-win season in the last seven years with a 25-23 win over North Carolina in the Sun Bowl. It marked the fourth bowl victory for head coach David Shaw, the most in program history.
