COLUMBUS, Ohio – An offensive showcase by No. 15 Stanford led the Cardinal to a 19-9 win over Ohio State Friday afternoon in Ohio Stadium. The victory pushes the Cardinal's win streak over the Buckeyes to five dating back to 2013.

Stanford (3-2) opened up the game with Kelly Myers striking first for her eighth goal of the year to start a four goal streak with Stanford up 4-0 only 11 minutes into the game. The Buckeyes (3-1) called a timeout to compose themselves and came out swinging by putting up four straight goals of their own to tie it.

Kelsey Murray led the offense in the half with two goals, while Allie DaCar's six saves proved clutch. The Cardinal took its own timeout to regroup after which it saw Areta Buness and Daniella McMahon join the offense on the scoreboard to push the Cardinal to an 8-5 lead at the break.

Coming out of the half, the Cardinal floored it out of the gate, scoring three goals before five minutes had a chance to elapse. Hat tricks abounded in the game as Kelsey Murray, Elizabeth Cusick and Anna Salemo all scored at least three on the day. Murray's four goals move her to 14th all-time in career scoring at Stanford with 98 goals surpassing Caroline Osterwise's 95.

Allie DaCar was stellar in the cage for the Cardinal as well with a season-high 10 saves to keep the Buckeyes at bay while Stanford rolled to a 19-9 win.

The Cardinal will return to open a three-game home stand. Stanford will take on Michigan Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Cagan Stadium live on Pac-12 Network.
