STANFORD, Calif. – The second-ranked Cardinal takes to the road again this weekend as it travels to Ann Arbor to take on No. 12 Michigan and No. 4 Illinois in a tri-meet Saturday. Meet time is set for 11 a.m. PT at UM's Cliff Keen Arena.
Stanford (10-2, 4-1 MPSF) has posted a phenomenal season thus far in 2017 only suffering losses to the reigning Olympic Champions Japan and reigning back-to-back NCAA Champions Oklahoma. The Sooners bested the Cardinal by the slimmest of margins last week with Oklahoma topping Stanford by .250.
The meet saw some incredible highlights for the Cardinal against the Sooners as Taylor Seaton took the floor title with a season-best 14.950 before Robert Neff demolished the leading NCAA score in high bar with a monstrous 15.500.
The Cardinal will also be at full strength this weekend with the return of Akash Modi after his third place finish for Team USA at the AT&T American Cup.
