INDIANAPOLIS – The 2017 Stanford fencing season concluded Sunday with the women's competition in the NCAA Championships at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

Carly Weber-Levine, Amanda Han and Eliza Klyce represented the Cardinal and produced good showings. Weber-Levine recorded a team-best 12-11 mark in 23 bouts to finish 11th in sabre. Francesca Russo of Notre Dame was the overall winner.

In epee, Han posted a 10-13 record to wind up 17th. Anna Van Brummen of Princeton claimed the NCAA crown.

Competing in foil, Klyce won six of 23 bouts to finish 20th. Lee Kiefer of Notre Dame won the title.

In the combined men's and women's team standings, Notre Dame secured the NCAA trophy by amassing 186 points in the four-day competition. Ohio State was second with 161.

Stanford finished 10th with 78 points. It marked the 11th time in the last 12 years the Cardinal has finished 10th or higher.
