STANFORD, Calif. - No. 5 Stanford blanked Hawai'i 4-0 on Sunday afternoon at Taube Family Tennis Stadium, representing the 400th career victory for head coach Lele Forood.
The Cardinal (12-1, 4-0 Pac-12) won its eighth in a row and remained unbeaten in nine matches at home.
Forood, midway through her 17th season at the helm after serving as an assistant and associate head coach for the previous 14 years, improved to 400-38 (.913 winning percentage) in her career on The Farm. Forood has led the Cardinal to eight NCAA titles, 12 conference crowns and produced five NCAA singles champions and five NCAA doubles champions among her lengthy list of accolades.

Stanford locked up the doubles point with convincing wins on courts two and three.
Emily Arbuthnott extended her winning streak to 13 with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at the No. 4 spot before Emma Higuchi followed with a 6-2, 6-1 triumph next door on court five.
The clincher came from Melissa Lord, who defeated Cindy Nguyen 7-5, 6-3 at the No. 3 position. Play was suspended with three matches remaining.
Hawai'i (9-5, 4-0 Big West) was playing the first of three matches on its California road swing.
Stanford plays five of its final seven matches on the road, starting with a visit to Utah on Friday at 12:30 p.m. PT.
