STANFORD, Calif. – Six Stanford women's gymnasts earned Pac-12 All-Academic honors, as announced by the conference Wednesday.
Taryn Fitzgerald and Nicole Hoffman were named to the second team. Honorable mention selections included Rachel Daum (human biology), Dare Maxwell, Hailee Hoffman and Nicolette McNair (human biology).
It is the second all-academic honor for Daum and the first for Fitzgerald, Maxwell, McNair, Nicole Hoffman and Hailee Hoffman. Every member of Stanford's sophomore class was recognized.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and compete in at least 50 percent of the team's competitions.
