STANFORD, Calif. – The second-ranked Cardinal remains home this weekend to host its biggest home meet of the year where it will face reigning back-to-back champions, No. 1 Oklahoma on Saturday. The meet is set to begin at 4 p.m. PT at Burnham Pavilion.
Stanford (10-1, 4-0 MPSF) has dominated every meet this season, save for a loss to the Olympic Champions Japan last weekend at the International Challenge. The Cardinal remains undefeated against NCAA teams with another win over No. 6 Minnesota in the field of Japan, Canada and Minnesota last weekend.
The Cardinal and Sooners are no strangers to one another as both teams have vied for the national championship the last several years with Oklahoma taking the title back-to-back in 2015 and 2016 with Stanford placing second at both.
While Stanford will be without Akash Modi as he competes at the AT&T American Cup on Saturday, Oklahoma will also be without Yul Moldauer as Modi's Team USA teammate at the American Cup.
