SALT LAKE CITY – Elizabeth Price scored 9.925 or higher in each of her three events to help Stanford earn its second-highest team score of the season Friday night at No. 5 Utah.
The Cardinal (6-8, 3-4 Pac-12) hit 21-of-23 performances to post a 196.275 – a total only eclipsed by last week's 196.325 against No. 10 Oregon State. Stanford's strong performance was not quite enough to keep pace with the Utes (10-1, 5-1 Pac-12) which posted a 197.500 in its final home meet of the season.
Price tied for first on bars (9.950), placed second on vault (9.925) and third on floor (9.950). She has won at least one event in the seven meets she has competed in this season. Price has won 12 of the 18 events she has competed in this season.
Price has scored 9.900 or higher in 55-of-86 (64 percent) performances during her collegiate career.
Danielle McNair delivered one of her strongest performances of the season, scoring 9.800 or better in each of her three events. She scored a career-best 9.875 on beam to tie for first and went 9.850 on vault to tie for fifth.
Rachel Daum had a quality night in the all-around, hitting all four of her routines to score 39.175.
Taryn Fitzgerald scored a career-high 9.850 in the leadoff spot on beam to tie for third.

Stanford got off to a strong start on bars, posting its third-highest score of the season with a 49.125. Nicolette McNair led off with a 9.825 and was followed by a pair of 9.800s from Aleeza Yu and Danielle McNair.
Price capped the event with 9.950 to tie for first in the event. She has scored 9.900 or higher in six of seven meets she has competed in this season. Price has won at least one event in every meet she has competed in this season.
Stanford continued its momentum on vault with its second consecutive score of 49.125. All six gymnasts hit their vaults for scores of 9.700 or higher, highlighted by Price who led the Cardinal with a 9.925 to finish second.
Danielle McNair tied for fifth with a 9.850 and was followed by Daum (9.800) and Yu (9.800).
Despite the successful rotation, Utah continued to roll and extended its lead at the midway point, 98.725-98.250.
Stanford remained resilient and produced its third-highest score of the season on floor with a 49.075.
Price capped her impressive night with her second score of 9.950. Daum scored 9.850 – her sixth score of 9.800 or higher in the event in eight meets this season. Kaylee Cole also had a quality night on floor, scoring 9.800.
Danielle McNair led a strong finish on beam with a career-high 9.875 to tie for first. Fitzgerald posted a career-best 9.850 in the leadoff spot to tie for third. Cole and Daum posted scores of 9.800 to help the Cardinal go 48.950 in the event and secure its second-highest team score of the season.
Stanford has a habit of peaking as postseason competition approaches, and with its top two scores occurring in the past two weeks, the Cardinal looks poised to take a shot at another deep postseason run.
Stanford will look to continue its momentum next week when it heads to George Washington on Sunday at 10 a.m. (PT) for its final regular season meet of the year.
