STANFORD, Calif. - For the second straight week, No. 18 Stanford takes on Los Angeles. The Cardinal took two of three at USC last weekend, and hosts UCLA for a three-game set at Sunken Diamond, Thursday-Saturday. All three games can be seen on Pac-12 Networks.

» Only five NCAA coaches have reached 1,600 career wins, only four have been Division I coaches, and only three have done it at one school. Coach Marquess is a member of each of those exclusive clubs after an 8-4 win over arch rival Cal at Sunken Diamond on April 4.
» Augie Garrido (1,975 wins at five schools), Mike Martin (1,917 wins and counting at Florida State), Gordie Gillespie (1,893 wins in Division III) and Gene Stephenson (1,768 wins at Wichita State) are the only coaches to reach the milestone.

» Junior reliever Colton Hock set a career high with his seventh save of the season on March 28 vs. Long Beach State. He has 16 for his career which ranks fourth all-time at Stanford, tied with Jeff Bruksch (2000-01) and A.J. Vanegas (2011-14). Steve Chitren holds the school record with 26 saves. Chitren recorded the final out for both of Stanford's national titles.

» Junior Matt Winaker is leading the conference with an .821 slugging percentage and nine walks in Pac-12 play this year and is second with a .550 on-base percentage.
» Duke Kinamon is the first Cardinal with nine steals in the season since Justin Ringo in 2009, and is seeking to become the first with double-digit thefts since Zach Jones (2010).

Back-2-Back
» Junior Quinn Brodey earned back-to-back Pac-12 Baseball Player of the Week honors on March 7 and March 14. Brodey was the first player to win the award in back-to-back weeks since Washington State's Brian Wolfe in 2014, and the first Stanford player to do so since Jon Schaeffer in 1997. 
» The week prior, Brodey was named Player of the Week, while roommate and junior reliever Colton Hock was named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week. Brodey had walk offs in two straight games and the game-winning RBI in three consecutive games—all in 24 hours —to lead Stanford to a four-game series win over Texas. Both walk offs came with two outs. In that same 24-hour span, Hock went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in 5.0 innings, including a win in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader and a save in the nightcap.

Last Time Out
» Stanford took two of three in its first Pac-12 road series (at USC).
» In Game 1 against the Trojans, Matt Winaker became the first Cardinal since 2010 to lead off the game with a home run and the first with two homers in a game since 2014, but it the Cardinal fell 7-5 and dropped to 0-3 in Pac-12 openers this year.
» In Game 2, Colton Hock threw 5.0 scoreless innings in relief and the Cardinal scored five in the 10th to win, 8-3. 
» In the finale, freshman Daniel Bakst hit a two-out, three-run, bases-clearing double to give the Cardinal a 4-2 lead in the seventh inning. The Cardinal hung on to win 6-3.
» On Tuesday, Stanford scored five runs in the second and used five hurlers to win at SJSU.

» Another mid-week matchup with Cal on Pac-12 Network. The Cardinal host the Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
» Stanford then takes to the road for the next four. For the first time since a flight to Houston for the series at Rice, March 9-12, the Cardinal hits the skies. Stanford flies to Oregon to take on the Ducks, April 21-23, before returning back to the Bay Area to play Santa Clara.
