STANFORD, Calif. - The Council Luncheon, a Stanford football tradition dating back more than 50 years, is set to return this season.

Hosted by Stanford director of football operations Matt Doyle -- and featuring a guest lineup of players, coaches and alumni -- the luncheon is a great way to kick off a home game weekend for our fans.

Three luncheon dates set for the upcoming season: Sept. 22 (UCLA), Oct. 13 (Oregon) and Nov. 17 (Cal).

This Friday's program features an inside look at Stanford Athletics' newly-minted Home of Champions (set to open to the public on Saturday, Sept. 23). Fans will hear from junior running back Bryce Love, former Cardinal standout and ESPN analyst Rod Gilmore, and running backs coach Ron Gould.

Each week's program features guest speakers, lunch available for purchase, trivia and raffle prizes for members.

If interested in attending, complete and return the registration form and contact Theresa Miraglia (trm@stanford.edu) to be added to the event's exclusive e-mail list. Membership is $30 per person and lunch can be purchased for $10.
