STANFORD, Calif. – Catarina Macario scored two goals and assisted another in No. 1 Stanford's 4-0 win over Oregon on Thursday night at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.
The Cardinal (14-1-0, 7-0-0) won its 12th straight while collecting its sixth consecutive shutout – Stanford has gone 603:20 without conceding, dating back to the first half of the Pac-12 opener at Washington State. The Ducks (7-8-0, 1-6-0) started on the front foot, but after Macario's opener in the 20th minute, Stanford never looked back.
Macario made it 1-0 in the 20th minute with an incredible free kick from 35 yards, bending it with power inside the left post for her 10th goal of the season. Oregon responded with some chances going forward, only to be denied by strong defending from Sam Hiatt and Tegan McGrady.
In the 40th minute, Macario doubled the lead with another well-taken strike from outside the box. Tegan McGrady pinged a long ball from inside her own half to the top of the box, where Mariah Lee flicked it into the area of Macario. Macario's first touch off the thigh set her up for a screaming 20-yard volley inside the left post.
Michelle Xiao had two chances to make it 3-0, including one after another inch-perfect through ball by McGrady. It was Macario again at the center of Stanford's third goal after some tidy link-up play by McGrady and Boissiere. Macario eventually got it outside the box, bending one off the far post and leaving Kyra Carusa with a wide-open net in which to finish in the 57th minute.

Alison Jahansouz improved to 7-1-0 with her sixth shutout of the season, finishing with one save. The Cardinal outshot Oregon 22-6 with a 9-1 advantage in shots on goal.
