STANFORD, Calif. - Junior running back, human biology major and Heisman Trophy candidate Bryce Love was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Love aided Stanford to a 30-22 win over No. 9 Washington on Friday night with 166 rushing yards and a career-high three touchdowns. He is just the second player in school history with three conference Offensive Player of the Week awards in the same season (Toby Gerhart, 2009).
Love extended his FBS-leading touchdown streak to 11 games, which also tied the program record (Gerhart). The nation's leading rusher had scoring runs of 1, 9 and 13 yards, including the eventual game-winner midway through the fourth quarter. His 15 rushing touchdowns this season are the most among Power 5 running backs.

Love finished with more than 140 yards for the eighth time in nine games this year, and totaled a game-high 178 all-purpose yards. He also moved past Christian McCaffrey for fourth-place on Stanford's single-season rushing list, and is leading the nation with 9.0 yards per carry this season -- just off the pace of the NCAA record of 9.3 set by Houston's Chuck Weatherspoon in 1989.

He matched a career-high with three made field goals (38, 32, 31) and his current 85.7 percent accuracy (18-for-21 this season) ranks second among kickers with that many attempts.
No. 20 Stanford hosts the 120th Big Game against rival Cal on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. PT on FOX.
