STANFORD, Calif. - On Senior Night for Merete Lutz, No. 4 Stanford women's volleyball swept No. 15 Utah, 25-19, 25-22, 25-21 on Wednesday at Maples Pavilion.
The Cardinal (25-3, 18-1 Pac-12) won its 15th straight home match and finished the regular season with an unblemished 11-0 record on The Farm.
In her final home match, Lutz led the Cardinal with 12 kills and four blocks. She helped hold the Utes (21-9, 12-7) to .119 hitting for the match.
Kathryn Plummer added 11 kills and seven digs, while Morgan Hentz finished a match-high 17 digs. Jenna Gray added 37 assists and 11 digs for her fourth double-double of the season.
Tami Alade, who sealed the first set with one of her five kills, also had four blocks, while Audriana Fitzmorris chipped in with nine kills and three blocks.
The Utes jumped out to a 10-3 lead in the second set, but Stanford won 12 of the next 17 points to tie the match at 15-15, and eventually took a commanding two-set lead. There were 10 tie scores and three lead changes in the third before the Cardinal closed it out on a 7-3 run. Stanford has now defeated all 11 of the other Pac-12 teams this season.

Utah was led by senior Adora Anae, who recorded 12 kills and nine digs. Fellow senior Tawnee Luafalemana hit .600 for the Utes with 10 kills and three blocks.
Stanford will conclude the regular season at Cal on Saturday at 7 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks. The Cardinal will find out its postseason fate on Sunday as the NCAA Selection Show airs on ESPNU at 6 p.m. PT.
