Three Named All-America

STANFORD, Calif. – Senior midfielder Andi Sullivan, sophomore defender Tierna Davidson and freshman forward Catarina Macario were each named first-team All-Americans, as announced Thursday night by United Soccer Coaches.

Sullivan, Davidson and Macario were recently named United Coaches All-Pacific Region first-team after each earning a place on the MAC Hermann Trophy watch list on Tuesday.

Sullivan, the Pac-12 Midfielder of the Year, is a four-time All-Pacific Region and four-time All-Pac-12 selection. She is a three-time first-team All-American, a three-year captain, a member of the full United States Women's National Team and the 2016 Pac-12 Player of the Year.

Davidson, the Pac-12 Defender of the Year, earns her first All-Pacific Region selection in the midst of an excellent season. A member of the All-Pac-12 first team, Davidson was Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week twice in 2017, earning a call-up to the United States National Team on Sept. 19.

Macario, the ESPNW National Player of the Year and Pac-12 Forward of the Year, has enjoyed a scintillating rookie season, leading the nation in points (47) and assists (13) while ranking fourth in goals (17). She also picked up Pac-12 Freshman of the Year honors and was a member of the All-Pac-12 first and freshman teams.

Stanford's season concludes this weekend at the College Cup. The Cardinal faces South Carolina on Friday at 2 p.m. PT in the first of two semifinals, with the winner playing the victor between UCLA and Duke at 4:30 p.m.
