STANFORD, Calif. – Robert Neff has been named the College Gymnastics Association and the MPSF Gymnast of the Week, as announced by both organizations Tuesday.
The honors are the first of Neff's career after a weekend that saw him claim event titles in pommel horse (13.900), high bar (14.200) and in the all-around (82.850) at the Cal Benefit Cup where Stanford defeated No. 10 Cal and SC United.
Neff has earned three individual event victories this season: all-around (1), high bar (1) and pommel horse (1).
Stanford and Neff will look to keep the momentum going on Sunday, Jan. 21 when the Cardinal travels to Chicago to face Iowa and Illinois-Chicago at 12 p.m. PT.
