STANFORD, Calif. - The No. 4 Cardinal will travel this week for one of its toughest meets of the year where it will face No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 2 Nebraska Saturday at McCasland Field House in Norman, Okla.
Stanford added two more wins last weekend in its 2018 campaign its third dominant tri-meet sweep to move to 6-0 overall as it heads to face No. 1 Oklahoma, owners of the last three NCAA Championship team titles and No. 2 Nebraska coming in red-hot sweeping its first two weeks in competition.
The Cardinal is also coming off a huge weekend where it posted an NCAA season-best team score of 414.100 at the 26th annual Stanford Open where it also added team season-bests in every event en route to defeating No. 9 Cal and No. 15 Washington.
Sweep Life:
The Cardinal stepped up to not only sweep all three of its tri-meets to open the season, it also swept MPSF and CGA National Gymnast of the Week honors the first two weeks, first by Robert Neff in week one and Ryan Sheppard in week two in his first competition since the NCAA Finals in 2016.
