STANFORD, Calif. - Fresh off a sweep of the Southern California schools, No. 25 Stanford looks to continue its momentum this weekend as Utah and Colorado visit The Farm.

Stanford (6-3, 2-0 Pac-12) jumped 21 spots in this week's poll after collecting its first victories over ranked opponents last weekend, defeating No. 13 UCLA 4-3 and No. 47 USC 4-0.

The strong start in conference play should not come as a surprise, as the Cardinal is attempting to win three straight league titles for the first time since 2010-12. Last season, the Cardinal finished 10-0 in conference and captured the inaugural Pac-12 Tournament title one week after winning the regular-season crown outright.

With four contests remaining in a nine-match homestand, Stanford must continue to pile up victories so it can make a move up the standings and position itself among the nation's top-16, typically recognized as the cutline for NCAA hosting honors. The Cardinal is receiving a boost from playing at home, having now won 41 of its last 44 contests at Taube Family Tennis Stadium dating back to 2015.

Among the many bright spots for Stanford last weekend was the play of Michaela Gordon, with two of her last three victories coming against top-10 opponents while improving to 15-4 overall and 6-3 in duals. Gordon shares the team lead in victories with Emily Arbuthnott, who provided the clincher in Stanford's upset of UCLA, and fellow rookie Janice Shin, who is also 15-4 overall and 6-3 in duals.

Stanford's next victory will be No. 990 in program history. With only 103 all-time losses, the Cardinal boasts an eye-popping winning percentage of .906.

Gordon (17) and Arbuthnott (33) are the only ranked singles players in Stanford's current lineup, while the duo checks in at No. 3 as the Cardinal's top doubles team.
