SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Stanford completed its first day of action at the San Diego Crew Classic Saturday, placing fourth in its heat of the Women's Collegiate Varsity Jessop-Whittier Cup Invitational.
The Cardinal recorded a time of 6:57.596 in its heat, just missing the threshold to advance to Sunday's Final. Stanford will compete in the Petite Final on Ocean Bay tomorrow at 10:24 a.m. PT among Tennessee, San Diego, Gonzaga, Oklahoma, and UC Santa Barbara.
