STANFORD, Calif. - Conference play gets underway this weekend, as No. 46 Stanford prepares to host No. 13 UCLA on Friday and No. 47 USC on Saturday.

Stanford (4-3, 0-0 Pac-12) is navigating through the middle portion of a nine-match homestand but will be taking the court for the first time in two weeks. That's because the Cardinal's most recent contest against No. 6 Pepperdine last Friday was cancelled due to rain.

With only two nonconference matches remaining, Stanford will be looking to duplicate its recent success in conference play. In 2017, the Cardinal finished 10-0 in league matches and captured the inaugural Pac-12 Tournament title one week after winning the regular-season crown outright. Stanford is attempting to win three straight conference titles for the first time since 2010-12.

Stanford will be tested right away, with two of the conference's top squads in UCLA (8-2) and USC (7-2) visiting Taube Family Tennis Stadium. Friday's 1:30 p.m. matchup features Bruins while the Trojans will be the opponent on Saturday at noon. The Cardinal has won 39 of its last 42 matches on The Farm dating back to 2015.

Two of Stanford's three losses have come to teams ranked in the top-25, so the Cardinal has a pair of opportunities to get back on track this week.

Emily Arbuthnott (14-6 overall, 4-1 duals) and Janice Shin (14-3 overall, 5-2 duals) continue to lead Stanford in victories, with Michaela Gordon (13-4 overall, 4-3 duals) representing the Cardinal's top-ranked singles player at No. 17.

After two weeks as the nation's top-ranked doubles team, Arbuthnott and Gordon (11-2 overall, 3-1 duals) now check in at No. 3.
