STANFORD, Calif. - No. 23 Stanford extended its winning streak to eight, powering past No. 26 Oregon 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at Taube Family Tennis Stadium.
Stanford (12-3, 6-0 Pac-12), which has not lost since a 4-3 defeat to Florida back on Feb. 24, continued its surge as one of the nation's hottest teams as the postseason approaches. The Cardinal remains atop the Pac-12 standings with three matches to play in the regular season.
Sunday's victory represented another quality win over a ranked opponent, as Oregon (12-8, 3-5 Pac-12) had climbed as high as No. 17 in the nation – a program best.
The Cardinal has now won 45 of its last 48 contests at Taube Family Tennis Stadium dating back to 2015.
Associate head coach Frankie Brennan: "The reason we've always had great players, is because we've always had great teammates who put in the work to push those players. That's Paulette." #GoStanford

The doubles point was quickly secured on the strength of a 6-3 win at the No. 3 spot from Melissa Lord and Janice Shin.
Melissa Lord increased Stanford's lead to 2-0 following a 6-3, 6-1 win at the No. 2 position. It was Lord's third win since returning from injury two weeks ago.
Emma Higuchi made it 3-0 after notching a 6-2, 6-3 triumph on court three. Higuchi has won seven in row and has not dropped more than four games in any set during that stretch.
The clincher came from Emily Arbuthnott, who prevailed 6-4, 6-2 at the No. 4 spot. It was the fifth clincher of the season for Arbuthnott and 15th of her career.
The Ducks collected their only point at the top spot of the lineup, where Alyssa Tobita outlasted Michaela Gordon 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 in a battle of ranked players.
Stanford honored its only senior, Paulette Wolak, in a pre-match ceremony.
Next up for the Cardinal is a road trip to the Pacific Northwest, starting at Washington State on Friday, April 13.
