Cardinal Campers

STANFORD, Calif. – Fifteen current and future Cardinal have been selected to participate in United States National Team training camps.

Goalkeeper Alison Jahansouz, defenders Tierna Davidson and Tegan McGrady, midfielders Jaye Boissiere and Jordan DiBiasi and forwards Catarina Macario and Madison Haley were each named to the U-23 squad. The team will train at the United States Soccer National Training Center in Carson, California, from May 11-18.

They will face the United States' U-20 team twice – on May 14 at 7 p.m. PT and on May 17 at 4 p.m. Macario scored all four goals for the U-23's in three matches against NWSL teams in March.

Defenders Kiki Pickett and Sam Hiatt were selected to the U-20 team, which trains at the National Training Center from May 8-17. Defender Naomi Girma and forward Sophia Smith, who will join the Cardinal in the fall, also made the team.

Last week, defender Jojo Harber and midfielder Belle Briede joined the United States U-19 team, which has been training at the Elite Athletic Training Center in Chula Vista, California, through May 12. Goalkeeper Katie Meyer and defender Sierra Enge, who will join Stanford in the fall, are also part of a concurrent U-18 camp in Chula Vista.
