Four Named All-Region

STANFORD, Calif. - Senior Kelsey Murray, junior Julia Massaro, sophomore Daniella McMahon and freshman Ali Baiocco were named All-Region by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) on Friday.

Murray and Massaro were first team selections, while McMahon and Baiocco were second team honorees. All four were also named All-Pac-12 on May 4.

Murray and Baiocco are the top two scorers for the nation's 11th-highest scoring offense. Murray was the Pac-12's Scholar of the Year and Attacker of the Year, and Baiocco was the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. 

Massaro and McMahon have been key to Stanford's 10th-ranked scoring defense. Massaro has set a school record with 80 draw controls, and McMahon leads the team with 25 caused turnovers. 

No. 11 Stanford will take on No. 18 Virginia in the first round of the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championships on Friday at 3 p.m. PT in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The winner will take on host and third-seeded James Madison on Sunday at 9 a.m. PT.
