GOLD RIVER, Calif. – Stanford lightweight rowing took the top spot in all three races it competed in on Saturday, winning the varsity eight, novice four, and varsity four boats at the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships.
 
The Cardinal's second-ranked varsity eight won its race by over a minute, clocking a time of 7:01.505. Washington State finished with a time of 8:04.525, while Oregon registered an 8:17.018 on the Lake Natoma course.
 
Stanford went head-to-head with the Cougars in the novice four, winning the race by open water. The Cardinal boat completed the race in 9:04.749, while Washington State finished with a time of 9:15.067.
 
In the varsity four, Stanford raced three boats. Each finished in the top three. The Cardinal's A boat clocked a time of 7:56.617 for first place, while the B boat finished in second with an 8:14.719. Stanford's C boat took third, finishing with a time of 8:19.857. Oregon's A and B boat took fifth and sixth, respectively.
