Leading the Way

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford led the conference with nine Pac-12 All-Academic honorees, including three first-team selections, as announced by the league office on Thursday.

Stanford and Washington each had three first-team honorees as Victoria Molina, Lauren Wegner and Carolyn Lee represented the Cardinal. It is the second career All-Pac-12 first team recognition for Molina and Lee, while Wegner earned her way on the academic list for the third straight season.

Whitney Burks, Teaghan Cowles and Arden Pettit were second-team selections, while Alyssa Horeczko, Hannah Howell and Kristina Inouye earned honorable mention accolades. Oregon was second behind the Cardinal with eight total honorees.

In the first season under head coach Jessica Allister, Stanford finished with its highest win total since 2014, which included victories at No. 3 UCLA and a walk off on Senior Day over No. 9 Arizona.
