STANFORD, Calif. – The Cardinal travels to Dexter, Oregon for a dual with conference foe Oregon State Saturday, the team's last regatta before the Pac-12 Championships on May 13.
"We'll be racing for the Mack Babitt Sr. 'Working Life Trophy.' on Saturday," said Cardinal head coach Craig Amerkhanian. "Mr Babitt was a veteran and hard working man his entire life, founding and operating Babitt's Brakes and Tune up in Berkeley for over 50 years. We are proud to honor and bring Mack's work ethic to the waters of Dexter Lake alongside Oregon State."
No. 8 Stanford is coming off the Big Row on April 28, in which No. 2 Cal took the race in the varsity eight. Two weeks prior, the Cardinal won eight of nine races in its home Stanford Invitational, with the varsity eight winning all three of its races in the two-day regatta at Redwood Shores.
