REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. – Stanford and Cal lightweight rowing raced two pieces in the varsity four Saturday with the Golden Bears winning each race.
Stanford's first boat took on the Redwood Shores course to a time of 08:43.7. Cal won the heat, finishing with a time of 08:06.3.
Cal also took the second heat between the two varsity four boats over Stanford. The Bears recorded a time of 08:12.7, while Stanford finished with a time of 08:34.5.
Up next, the Cardinal returns to Lake Natoma in Gold River, California for the second time in two weeks to compete in the Pacific Coast Rowing Championships on Saturday, May 12.
