Cranny was named to the first team, after earning a third-team (2016) and second-team (2017) selections. She is an 11-time All-America and carries a 3.87 GPA as a human biology major. Cranny holds school records in the outdoor 1,500 (4:09.49), indoor mile (4:31.29), and the indoor distance medley relay (10:52.02). She recently was awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. This year, on the track, she won the Pac-12 outdoor 5,000 title and the MPSF indoor mile crown, she was third in the NCAA outdoor 1,500 and fifth in the NCAA indoor mile. Â
Cranny is the only Stanford woman to earn the honor three times and the first first-team selection since Kathy Kroeger in 2012.
Dinger was named to the second team. He is an All-America who carries a 3.99 GPA as a molecular and cell biology major.
Both Cranny and Dinger were members of Stanford's cross-country teams that each placed fourth at NCAA's. Dinger also helped the Cardinal to its first Pac-12 men's cross country crown in seven years while earning Pac-12 All-Academic first-team honors.
