STANFORD, Calif. 
 Stanford sophomores Jaylen Jasper, Kyler Presho and JP Reilly have been selected to the 12 player U.S. Men's Junior National Team that will compete Aug. 27-Sept. 2 at the NORCECA Men's U21 Continental Championship in Havana, Cuba.

The winner of the Continental Championship will qualify for the 2019 FIVB U21 World Championship. The site and dates for that competition have not been announced.

Setters on the team are Blake Crisp and Joe Kelly. Outside hitters are Devin Joslyn, Kevin Lamp, Spencer Olivier and Reilly. Middle blockers are Sam Lewis, Presho and J.T. Martin. Opposites are Jasper and Luke Denton, while Garland Peed.

Jasper was an AVCA All-America honorable mention following his freshman campaign with the Cardinal. A first team All-MPSF selection, he led all rookies nationally with 3.92 kills per set. Presho was one of just two Cardinal players to start all 26 matches in 2018. A member of the All-MPSF Freshman Team, he ranked sixth in the league with a .410 hitting percentage. Reilly started eight matches for Stanford, averaging 1.37 kills and 2.11 points per set.

The U.S. Men's Junior National Training Team has been practicing since Aug. 15 at the Adversity Volleyball Club in Vernon Hills, Illinois.
