STANFORD, Calif. – For the second consecutive week, Stanford outside hitter Kathryn Plummer and libero Morgan Hentz have been selected the Pac-12 Offensive and Defensive Players of the week, respectively.

Stanford turned in a pair of wins over No. 3 Texas, earning its third and fourth straight wins over a top 5 opponent, respectively. The Cardinal closed out the nonconference portion of its schedule with an 8-1 record.

Plummer, a junior from Aliso Viejo, California, recorded 4.43 kills and 5.50 points per set while hitting .303 against the Longhorns. On Tuesday, she had a match-high 13 kills to go with season-highs in digs (10), aces (3) and assists (3). On Friday in Austin, Plummer led all players with 18 kills, 10 digs and four blocks for her third straight double-double.

Hentz again anchored the Stanford defense, averaging 5.43 digs per set. On Tuesday, the junior collected 11 digs in the sweep, moving her into the top 10 for career digs at Stanford. On Friday, she racked up a season-high 27 digs in four sets. The Lakeside Park, Kentucky, native has registered double-digit digs in all nine matches this season.

It marks the fifth career weekly honor for Plummer and the third career recognition for Hentz. Stanford now has 109 player of the week honors all-time.

No. 2 Stanford opens Pac-12 play on the road at rival California on Wednesday at 8 p.m. The Cardinal will also face Arizona at home on Sunday at noon. Both matches will be televised on Pac-12 Networks.
