Big Day in Boston

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Stanford won both the 8+ and 4+ collegiate divisions at the historic Head of Charles Regatta on Sunday.
 
The Cardinal's varsity eight clocked a time of 16:58.098 to finish second overall in the Women's Championship Eights and first among collegiate crews, outlasting California, Princeton, and Yale, among others. The USRowing national eight claimed the top spot overall.

Stanford varsity four turned in an equally impressive performance, finishing second overall to DRV Potsdam, the German national team. The Cardinal's 19:58.586 was the best among collegiate crews and five seconds faster than the third-place team, Syracuse.
 
Up next, the Cardinal will participate in a fall dual with California on November 10th.
