EUGENE, Ore. – Junior Kathryn Plummer led all players with 19 kills as No. 2 Stanford women's volleyball topped No. 16 Oregon, 3-1, Sunday, at Matthew Knight Arena.
Plummer's 19 kills were a match-high for the Cardinal (18-0), which moved to 10-0 in the Pac-12 at the half-way mark of conference play. The Aliso Viejo, California, native hit .333 and finished with four digs and three aces.
Oregon (13-7, 6-4 Pac-12) came out fired up, hitting .412 in the opening set. The Ducks had just three hitting errors in the first and held the Cardinal to a .147 clip. For the match, Stanford out hit Oregon, .331-.289, and matched its season-high with 10 aces.
Tami Alade, Holly Campbell and Audriana Fitzmorris all turned in nine kills for Stanford. Alade had just one attack error for a .615 hitting percentage. Fitzmorris hit .400, while Campbell had a match-high five blocks.
Stanford picked up its offense in the second and found its groove from the service line as the match evolved. The Cardinal hit over .419 in the second and registered a sideout rate of 85 percent.

Junior setter Jenna Gray controlled the offense with 41 assists and added two kills, two aces and two blocks. Junior libero Morgan Hentz totaled 15 digs and eight assists.
Sophomore Meghan McClure recorded seven kills, six digs and two aces, while sophomore defensive specialist Kate Formico tallied a career-high three aces to go with five digs.
Stanford has now won 16 straight matches and 12 consecutive against the Ducks. The Cardinal is 60-4 all-time versus Oregon.
Oregon was led by senior outside hitter Lindsey Vander Weide, who recorded 13 kills and nine digs, but had five reception errors. Outside hitter Brooke Van Sickle chipped in with 12 kills and eight digs, while opposite Willow Johnson had 11 kills and four blocks.
Stanford remains on the road next week, travelling to Los Angeles to take on No. 14 USC on Friday and No. 20 UCLA on Sunday. Both matches will be televised on Pac-12 Networks.
