LOS ANGELES – No. 2 Stanford women's volleyball opened the second half of Pac-12 play with a 3-0 win over No. 15 USC, Friday, at Galen Center.
The Cardinal improved to 19-1 overall and 11-0 in the conference with a 25-19, 25-19, 29-27 road victory. It was the 13th sweep of the season for Stanford, which is in sole possession of first place in the Pac-12.
Junior opposite Audriana Fitzmorris led Stanford with 14 kills on .414 hitting and three blocks. Junior outside hitter Kathryn Plummer added 12 kills, seven digs and an ace.
Stanford, which has now won 17 straight matches, came out on fire in the opening set. The Cardinal hit .519 with 16 kills on 27 swings and just two errors, while limiting USC to just seven kills and a .038 hitting percentage.

Junior setter Jenna Gray turned in 39 assists to go with five digs, three kills, three blocks and three aces. The Shawnee, Kansas, native guided the offense to a .373 attack percentage against the Trojans.
Stanford continued its hot hitting in the second, posting a .467 clip with 15 kills on 30 swings with just one error.
Freshman middle blocker Holly Campbell hit .636 with seven kills and a team-high four blocks. Senior middle blocker Tami Alade chipped in with six kills on .545 hitting and three blocks, while freshman outside hitter Meghan McClure recorded six kills, five digs and two aces.
Libero Morgan Hentz tallied 12 digs to pace the Cardinal. The junior has registered double-digit digs in all 20 matches this season.

USC was led by sophomore Brooke Botkin's 10 kills and six digs. Junior Jasmine Gross hit .692 with nine kills, while junior Khalia Lanier also had nine kills. Senior libero Victoria Garrick had a match-high 14 digs.
Stanford caps off its four-match road swing on Sunday at No. 20 UCLA. First serve between the Cardinal and Bruins is slated for 4 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks.
