CORVALLIS, Ore. – Three first-half goals lifted top-ranked Stanford to a 3-0 win over Oregon State on Sunday at Paul Lorenz Field.
The Cardinal (12-0-1, 5-0-0 Pac-12) was never troubled by the Beavers (2-11-0, 1-4-0) as they outshot the hosts 36-1 with first-half goals from Tegan McGrady, Belle Briede and Jordan DiBiasi. Alison Jahansouz and Lauren Rood combined for the shutout, Stanford's fourth in five Pac-12 games, while Catarina Macario, Civana Kuhlmann and Kiki Pickett each picked up assists.
McGrady's free kick in the 11th minute was set up by a pressing Briede, who won the ball and raced toward goal before drawing a foul on the right edge of the box. McGrady curled it with power under the crossbar and inside the far post, leaving Lamont no chance – it was McGrady's first goal since 2016.

Stanford won a penalty kick in the 12th minute only for Macario's ensuing spot kick to be saved by Lamont, but Briede doubled the lead in the 22nd minute. Pickett released Kuhlmann down the right wing and the sophomore crossed it into a dangerous area where Briede stabbed it home for her first goal of the season.
Jordan DiBiasi's diving header off of Macario's free kick made it 3-0 in the 27th minute, and Stanford entered the break outshooting the Beavers 19-0.

Rood replaced Jahansouz at halftime, coming on to save the Beavers' only shot of the afternoon. Kuhlmann and Sophia Smith each had multiple chances to make it 4-0, only to be denied by great saves from Lamont, who finished with 12 on the day. Macario led the Cardinal with eight shots, Kuhlmann had seven and Smith finished with six.
