STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford softball head coach Jessica Allister announced the signing of six student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Thursday. 

Joining the Cardinal are pitcher/utility Tatum Boyd (Plano, Texas/Plano West Senior HS), infielder Sydnee Huff (Yucaipa, Calif./Yucaipa HS), outfielder Kaitlyn Lim (Irvine, Calif./Woodbridge HS), pitcher/utility Gabi Peters (Eagle, Idaho/Eagle HS), infielder Sydney Steele (Poway, Calif./Poway HS), and pitcher Alana Vawter (Kansas City, Mo./Staley HS).

'We are thrilled to announce the addition of Alana, Gabi, Kaitlyn, Sydnee, Sydney, and Tatum to the Stanford softball family," Allister said. "This class is made up of competitive, dynamic student-athletes who share our vision for the future of Stanford softball. This class will bring quality depth to the circle, give us great flexibility defensively, and add power and speed to our lineup.

Tatum Boyd:
•    Top 5 in ERA and wins in Dallas-Fort Worth area as a junior.
•    Two-time All-District (2017, 2018).
•    Three-time Academic All-District (2016-18).
•    Team offensive MVP (2018).
•    Team defensive MVP (2016).
•    Third and fourth at USA Elite Selection Championships for Team Mizuno Impulse.

Sydnee Huff:
•    Named to 2018 Cal-Hi Sports California All-State team and All-Inland Empire first team.
•    2017 All-CIF Southern Section Division I first-team; only underclassman selected.
•    Three-time All-Citrus Belt League and led Yucaipa HS to three Citrus Belt League titles.
•    As a junior, batted .490 with .505 OBP; as a sophomore, batted .486, with .522 OBP.
•    Led Corona Angels 18 Gold to PGF national third-place finish.

Kaitlyn Lim:
•    All-CIF Southern Section Division III first team and All-Orange County first team.
•    As a HS junior: .483 BA, 11 HR and 1.509 OPS.
•    As a HS soph.: .528 BA, 8 HR and 1.620 OPS.
•    Two-time Pacific Coast League MVP.
•    Three-time All-City first team.
•    Competes for the Irvine Sting.

Gabi Peters:
•    Led Eagle HS to Idaho 5A state softball titles in 2016 and 2017, and 2018 state runner-up finishes in softball and basketball.
•    National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-West Region first team.
•    5A Southern Idaho Conference Player of the Year.
•    NFCA Academic All-American.
•    Competes for the Northwest Bullets.

Sydney Steele:
•    Two-time first-team All-CIF San Diego Section and 2017 Palomar League Player of the Year.
•    Led Poway to CIF-San Diego Section Open runner-up finish and two league titles.
•    Set school records in 2018 in doubles (16) and runs (38).
•    Hit .443 as a sophomore and .426 as a junior.
•    Helped SoCal Athletics Richardson to fifth and seventh in PGF Nationals.

Alana Vawter:
•    Holds school records in career ERA, innings pitched, strikeouts, and wins as a pitcher, and career home runs (29) at the plate.
•    Two-time All-Missouri selection and four-time All-Greater Kansas City Conference first-team choice.
•    As a HS senior, had a 0.79 ERA on the mound and batted .550 with a 1.755 OPS.
•    Helped Staley High to 2015 Missouri Class 4 title and three conference championships.
•    Three top-five finishes at PGF Nationals with New Jersey Intensity.
