TEMPE, Ariz. – The No. 2 Stanford women's volleyball team held off Arizona State, 25-23, 25-14, 26-24, to register its 25th consecutive victory, Wednesday, at Wells Fargo Arena.
The Cardinal (27-1) improved to 19-0 in the Pac-12 with one match remaining. Stanford will attempts to become the first Pac-12 team to go undefeated in conference matches since USC did so in 2003 when it hosts Cal on Saturday night.
Junior opposite Audriana Fitzmorris led the Cardinal with eight kills on 15 errorless swings to hit .533 and collected six blocks. Junior outside hitter Kathryn Plummer finished with a team-high 11 kills and four digs.
Stanford hit .341 as a team and totaled 11.5 blocks, while holding Arizona State (14-17, 5-14 Pac-12) to a .113 clip.
Junior Jenna Gray turned in 33 assists and was a perfect 4-0-4 (1.000) offensively. The setter also notched four blocks. Junior libero Morgan Hentz had a match-high 14 digs and four assists.

Freshman middle blocker Holly Campbell registered seven kills and four blocks for the Cardinal, while senior Tami Alade had four kills and six blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Meghan McClure added five kills and two digs.

Arizona State was led by reigning Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week Alyse Ford, who had a match-high 17 kills. Libero Courtney Leffel had a team-high 11 digs.
Stanford closes out the regular season against rival California for Senior Night. First serve between the Cardinal and Golden Bears is set for 7 p.m. on Pac-12 Bay Area.
