NORMAN, Okla. – Associate head coach Lauren Dobashi has been named an assistant coach for the U.S. team at the Arnold Palmer Cup, June 7-9 at The Alotian Club in Roland, Arkansas.

Now in her sixth season on The Farm, Dobashi and Anne Walker, the Margot and Mitch Milias Director of Women's Golf, have led Stanford to unprecedented success, winning the program's first NCAA Championship in 2015. The team reached the NCAA match play finals in 2016, and the semifinals in 2017 and 2018.

During Dobashi's tenure, the Cardinal has captured three consecutive NCAA Regional crowns, collected 16 full-field victories and produced 14 All-Americans.

In addition to her coaching duties, Dobashi oversees team travel and helps coordinate recruiting and scheduling. She was selected the 2017-18 Golf Pride Grips WGCA Assistant Coach of the Year.

A 2010 graduate of UC Davis, Dobashi was a three-time recipient of the Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar Award, presented to the student-athlete with outstanding academics, athletic achievement and community involvement. She qualified for two U.S. Women's Amateur Championships.

A native of Gold River, Calif., Dobashi was a four-year letter winner at UC Davis. She played her final two seasons for Walker, who served as the Aggies' head coach for four seasons. Dobashi earned degrees in graphic design and communications.

Dobashi and Corey Maggard of Auburn will assist head coach Mic Potter from Alabama against an International Team in a three-day competition that pits 24 women's and men's collegiate players against each other.

Last year, Walker served as head coach of the International squad, with the Americans prevailing at the Evian Resort in France.
