STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford's Lexie Hull was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for her performances in the Cardinal's road sweep of Washington State and Washington. The honor is the first of Hull's career and Stanford's eighth all-time freshman of the week selection.
Hull averaged 9.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in Stanford's wins in Pullman (67-42) and Seattle (72-53) and put together arguably her best weekend since returning from injury nearly two months ago. The freshman was 7-of-12 from the floor (.583) and 4-of-8 from deep (.500) in the victories.
Hull scored nine points, grabbed five rebounds and a had career-high four steals in the win at Washington State and scored nine on three 3-pointers to go with four rebounds in the Cardinal's regular-season finale at Washington.
Hull and the Cardinal are the No. 2 seed at next weekend's Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas and will open in the quarterfinals on Friday at 6 p.m. against the winner of No. 7 Cal and No. 10 Washington State.
