STANFORD, Calif. - After batting .688 to guide Stanford to a 4-1 record last week, including a series win over Oregon in Pac-12 play, junior Teaghan Cowles has been tabbed Pac-12 Player of the Week.

Teaghan Cowles led @StanfordSball to a 4-1 record this weekend with an OBP of .750 and a slugging percentage of 1.188.

The selection is the second of the year for Cowles, as she was previously honored on March 5.
Cowles went 11-for-16 with three runs scored, three doubles, a triple and a homer to finish with a 1.188 slugging percentage last week. The native of Ridgefield, Wash. drove in three runs and added four walks to record a .750 on-base percentage.
Cowles hit safely in all five games on the week, including posting multiple hits in four of the five. Serving as the leadoff hitter in the order, Cowles saw five of her 11 hits go for extra bases. Over two games against Saint Mary's on Wednesday, Cowles batted 4-for-6 with a run scored, two doubles and a triple. She would then finish 7-for-10 with two runs scored, a double, a homer and three RBI in the series against Oregon.

Joining Cowles in the weekly honors are Arizona's Taylor McQuillin (Pitcher of the Week) and UCLA's Megan Faraimo (Freshman of the Week).
The Cardinal, ranked No. 24 in the nation last week, is preparing to welcome Sacramento State to campus on Tuesday for a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. Stanford will then continue Pac-12 play at Oregon State this weekend.
