Four Receive Academic Nods

STANFORD, Calif. – Led by two-time selection Eric Beatty, four members of the Stanford men's volleyball team earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic accolades, the league announced today. 

Joining Beatty (management science and engineering – 3.40) on the all-academic team were fifth-year senior Kyle Dagostino (English/communication – 3.19), junior Stephen Moye (bioengineering – 3.95) and sophomore Leo Henken (undeclared – 3.97). The group was recognized for their combined work athletically and in the classroom.

Grand Canyon led the conference for the second straight year with six honorees, while the Cardinal tied Pepperdine for the second-most in the league.

To be eligible, students must have a 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically and have spent at least one academic year at the institution and must have competed in fifty percent of their team's competition this season.
