Four Receive Pac-12 Postseason Honors

STANFORD, Calif. – Four Cardinal were recipients of Pac-12 Postseason Honors on Tuesday.

Seniors, Stephanie Grauer, Elizabeth Sharis and Chase Shepley were all selected to the Women's Rowing All-Conference team, while freshman, Kelsey McGinley, was recognized as Pac-12 Women's Rowing Newcomer of the Year.

McGinley, a freshman from Westport, Connecticut, is just the second Cardinal all-time to earn the Women's Rowing Pac-12 Newcomer of the Year honor and is the first to win since 2002.

Early on in the season, McGinley earned her spot in Stanford's varsity eight, which finished second place at the Pac-12 Championships and is the No. 3 seed at this weekend's NCAA Championships.

Stephanie Grauer, a senior from Vancouver, British Columbia, earns her third straight All-Pac-12 honor. She rowed in the varsity eight all season, alongside McGinley.

Seniors Elizabeth Sharis and Chase Shepley were both named to the All-Conference team for the first time in their careers. Shepley, a Crystal Lake, Illinois native, was invited to compete at the Women's Open Under 23 Selection Camp earlier this year and is a two time Second Team Pac-12 All-Academic selection.

Stanford begins competition in the NCAA Championships on Friday in Indianapolis, Indiana.
