STANFORD, Calif. – Twelve television matches highlight the 2019 Stanford men's soccer schedule, which the three-time NCAA champions announced Tuesday.
The nation's most successful collegiate men's soccer program over the last half-decade, Stanford has won three of the last four NCAA titles, five consecutive Pac-12 championships and posted a 77-14-18 (.789) overall record since 2014. The Cardinal returns nine starters to a team that went 12-4-5 in 2018 and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament.
Twelve of Stanford's 20 matches are at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium, including a pair of free exhibitions against Saint Mary's (Aug. 20) and Pacific (Aug. 23). The Cardinal has posted a 44-6-10 (.817) record at home over the past five seasons with a goals against average of 0.53.
