Three Picked on Day 3

STANFORD, Calif. – Andrew Daschbach, Brandon Wulff and Duke Kinamon were each picked on Day 3 of the Major League Baseball Draft.

The trio joins Kyle Stowers (71st overall in the second round to the Baltimore Orioles), Erik Miller (120th overall in the fourth round to the Philadelphia Phillies), Jack Little (161st overall in the fifth round to the Los Angeles Dodgers), Maverick Handley (168th overall in the sixth round to the Baltimore Orioles) and Will Matthiessen (184th overall in the sixth round to the Pittsburgh Pirates).

Daschbach is the third player to be picked by Baltimore, going 318th overall in the 11th round. An All-Pac-12, Pac-12 All-Defense and Pac-12 All-Academic honoree, Daschbach has 17 home runs and 45 RBI this season after leading the team with 17 home runs in 2018.

Wulff was selected 521st overall in the 17th round by the Los Angeles Dodgers, joining high school and college teammate Little in the organization. Wulff, an All-Pac-12 honoree, leads the team with 19 home runs this season, which ties for ninth on Stanford's all-time single-season list and are the most since Sean Ratliff hit 22 in 2008.

Kinamon went 728th overall to the Tampa Bay Rays in the 24th round. A member of the All-Pac-12, Pac-12 All-Defense and Pac-12 All-Academic teams, Kinamon ranks second on the team with a .309 batting average and has hit six home runs with 32 RBI and 38 runs this season.
