STANFORD, Calif. - Former Cardinal Robert Neff took home a pair of silver medals on floor exercise and pommel horse while competing for the U.S. men's gymnastics team at the Pan American Games on Tuesday afternoon in Lima, Peru.
The native of Brookfield, Wis. registered a score of 14.166 to place second on the floor behind Chile's Enrique Tomas Gonzalez (14.600). Colombia's Andres Martinez (14.100) captured the bronze medal.
With one silver medal already in hand, Neff returned to competition to post a 13.466 on pommel horse to claim his second medal of the day. Brazil's Francisco Carlos Barretto took gold with a score of 13.533, while Colombia's Carlos Alberto Calvo took third with a mark of 13.233.

Stanford rising sophomore, and the reigning CGA Rookie of the Year, Brody Malone also competed in the pommel horse final, placing fourth with a score of 12.766.
Malone still has one more event final to compete at the Pan American Games, as he'll head to the parallel bars final on Wednesday. Competition is set to begin at 11 a.m. PT.
Both Malone (80.450) and Neff (79.700) competed in the all-around finals on Monday night, with the duo finishing fifth and seventh, respectively. Team USA, featuring Stanford's Malone, Neff and Grant Breckenridge, captured silver behind Brazil in the team event on Sunday night.
