SCHEDULE

STANFORD – Coming off a fifth-place finish at NCAA Championships in 2019, Margot and Mitch Milias Director of Women's Golf Anne Walker announced Stanford's 2019-20 schedule on Friday. The slate is highlighted by a September foreign tour to Scotland and two events at the Stanford Golf Course.

"We added a couple of new events to the calendar this year, with Portland and Mexico," Walker said. "Both are fantastic, true championship courses that we are excited to play. With our foreign tour to Scotland kicking off our fall season, we are missing the Annika Invitational in Minnesota. The trip to Scotland will be a once-in-a-lifetime event for all of us, though, and an amazing way to start our year."

The Stanford Intercollegiate hosted by Condoleezza Rice is the first of two events for the Cardinal at the Stanford Golf Course during the 2019-20 schedule. That event will take place Oct. 11-13. Stanford will also play host to the 2020 Pac-12 Championships, taking place from April 24-26.

The Cardinal will depart for their foreign tour to Scotland on Sept. 7. During their week-long visit, they will play rounds at Gullane Golf Club – No. 2 Course, Lundin Golf Club, The Castle Course (vs. St. Andrews University) and Kingsbarns Golf Links. The student-athletes will have many opportunities for cultural immersion and education during their visit and will finish the trip at Gleneagles for a day at The Solheim Cup on Sept. 14.

After returning and beginning the fall quarter, the Cardinal begin their competitive slate at The Molly Intercollegiate in Portland, Oregon at the Waverly Country Club (Sept. 30-Oct. 1). Stanford will then compete in the Big Game Matchplay on Oct. 9 at Menlo Golf Club against California before hosting the Stanford Intercollegiate that weekend. The fall slate wraps up with the Pac-12 Preview at Nanea Golf Club in Nanea, Hawaii (Nov. 4-6).

The spring schedule begins at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge at Palos Verdes Golf Club (Feb. 9-11), followed by the Guadalajara International Invitational at Guadalajara Country Club in Mexico (Feb. 16-18).

The final two tournaments before the postseason begins will be the ASU Invitational at Papago Golf Course (March 27-29) and the Silverado Showdown (April 5-7) at Silverado Golf Course in Napa, Calif.

The postseason begins at home with the Pac-12 Championships before the NCAA Regional Championship (May 11-13), followed by the NCAA Championships (May 22-27) at Grayhawk Golf Course in Scottsdale, Arizona.
