Cardinal Impress at U23 Worlds

SARASOTA, Fla. – Nine Stanford rowers participated at the U23 World Championships in Sarasota, Florida, with three Cardinal taking home medals from the international competition.
 
Chase Shepley and Kaitlyn Kynast of Stanford women's rowing earned bronze in the women's 4- as members of USRowing. Meg Saunders and her Great Britain teammates took home silver in the women's eight.
 
Fellow women's rowing teammates Elizabeth Sharis and Emily Delleman won the B-Final in the women's double sculls event.
 
Representing Stanford women's lightweight rowing was Emily Molins, who earned silver with USRowing in the women's lightweight pair.
 
Stanford men's rowing had three representatives in the international regatta. James Wright, representing USRowing, finished fifth in the C-Final of the men's single sculls event. Nikita Lilichenko and Peter Chatain took sixth in the A-Final of the men's coxed four as members of the U.S. team.
