STANFORD, Calif. – Led by junior Meghan McClure, three Cardinal players registered double-digit digs to lead No. 2 Stanford to a 25-18, 25-21, 25-22 sweep over Arizona State, Sunday, at Maples Pavilion.
 
Stanford (11-3) improved to 5-1 in the Pac-12, while Arizona State (10-7) dropped to 2-4. The Cardinal hit .398 as a team and finished with 52 kills and 7.0 blocks. The Sun Devils posted a .317 attack percentage.
 
McClure recorded a team-high 12 kills on .333 hitting to go with seven digs and matched her season-high with four blocks. Freshman outside hitter Kendall Kipp hit a career-best .625 with 11 kills on 16 swings with just one error.
 
Sophomore Mackenzie Fidelak started in place of Audriana Fitzmorris, who was not in uniform on Sunday. The opposite tallied a career-high 11 kills on .348 hitting and a career-best six digs in Fitzmorris's absence.
 
Senior Jenna Gray controlled the offense with 39 assists and finished with a match-high 12 digs for her fifth double-double of the season. Senior libero Morgan Hentz totaled six digs, nine assists and an ace.
 


Senior middle blocker Madeleine Gates hit .444 with nine kills and two blocks, while sophomore Holly Campbell added six kills and a match-high five blocks.
 
Arizona State was led by freshman Iman Isanovic, who had a match-best 13 kills on .462 hitting. Junior Andrea Mitrovic added 12 kills on .364 hitting, while libero Courtney Leffel led the team with 11 digs.
 
Senior Kathryn Plummer missed her fourth straight match for the Cardinal.
 
Stanford remains on The Farm next week, playing host to Colorado on Friday and No. 18 Utah on Sunday.
