CYPRESS POINT – Stanford Men's Golf wrapped up its fall schedule on Tuesday at the Cypress Point Classic, falling to UCLA 4-2. The Cardinal won one match and tied two, highlighted by Nate Menon's 3&2 victory over UCLA's Bryan Teoh. Barclay Brown and Daulet Tuleubayev each tied their matches.
"Cypress Point was an amazing backdrop to play against the top teams in collegiate golf this week," The Knowles Family Director of Men's Golf Conrad Ray said. "This week provided great experience in a match-play setting. We are really grateful to all of the teams that came out to play in this event. Although we came up short today in a hard-fought match against UCLA, we are thankful to all of the people and programs that made this week possible."
Georgia Tech emerged victorious, defeating Duke, 6-0, on Tuesday, to win the Cypress Point Classic.

Illinois won the fifth-place match, 5-1, over Alabama, while Cal defeated USC in the seventh-place match, 4.5-1.5.
The Cardinal next takes the course on Monday, Jan. 27 at The Southwestern Invitational to begin its spring slate. They will host The Goodwin (March 26-28) at Stanford Golf Course. The Pac-12 Championship will take place April 27-29 before NCAA Regionals (May 18-20) and Championships.
