STANFORD, Calif. – Margot and Mitch Milias Director of Women's Golf Anne Walker announced the addition of three student-athletes who signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday to join the Cardinal Golf program. Rebecca Becht, Sadie Englemann and Rachel Heck will all join the program in the fall of 2020.
"We are thrilled to be welcoming two of the most decorated junior golfers in the USA to Stanford," Walker said of Heck and Englemann. "Both Rachel and Sadie have won several AJGA's, State Championships and represented the United States on multiple occasions. They are close friends and fierce competitors. I think they will not only be contributors on the course, but I am certain they will bring an infusion of energy and competitive spirit that will propel our program to great success."

• Made cut at 2017 U.S. Women's Open (youngest competitor) and 2018 Evian Championship (low amateur) and was a member of the victorious Team USA Junior Solheim Cup this summer
• Played five seasons of varsity golf, helping program to five straight state championships … individual regional and state champion all four years of high school
• Daughter of Robert and Stacy Heck … has two sisters – Abby and Anna … will graduate from St. Agnes Academy (Memphis, Tenn.) in 2020
• Ranked No. 303 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, No. 46 by Junior Golf Scoreboard and No. 11 by the AJGA
• Four-time Junior All-American, including second-team honors in 2019
• Four-time AJGA career champion that helped 2019 Junior Solheim Cup Team USA win its sixth straight championship and was also a member of the Wyndham Cup West Team
• Helped Westlake High School to 2018 and 2019 6A State Championships and posted 12 career high school wins … was 2019 state runner-up and was a three-time All-State performer
• Daughter of Mike Englemann and Sandi Treybig … will graduate from Westlake High School (Austin, Texas) in 2020
"Rebecca has traveled all over Europe to compete and represent Belgium," Walker said of Becht. "She is an extremely hard worker and committed to raising her game to the highest level. Her most recent win at the Belgium U-18 will be the first of many. We are excited to watch her grow and develop as part of the Stanford program."

• Represented the Royal Belgian Golf Federation at the European Girls' Team Championship (2016-19), International Moroccan Girls (2018), Duke of York Young Champions Trophy (2017, '19), British Girls (2017) and numerous other international events throughout her junior career
• Posted wins at the Thomas Pieters Junior Open and Grand Prix du Lys Chantilly
• Daughter of Marco Becht and Salomé Cismanl de Ugarte … has two brothers (Daniel, Lucas) and one sister (Sophia) … brother plays golf at Northwestern
• Will graduate from École Européene Bruxelles in 2020 … speaks four languages fluently – German, Spanish, English and French
