COLLEGE STATION, Texas - No. 6 Stanford concluded its fall season in style on Saturday, taking first at the Art Adamson Invitational with a total of 1,309 points amassed over the three-day meet.

The Cardinal tallied another three event wins on Saturday, including victories in the 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard breaststroke and 200-yard butterfly. The first-place finish is Stanford's first at the Art Adamson Invitational in five appearances under Paul A. Violich Director of Women's Swimming Greg Meehan.

Starting the day on long course meters, Stanford solidified a bulk of Olympic Trials cuts that many had already met, while Brooke Forde added a qualifying time in the 200m breaststroke. The Cardinal was able to pack a solid group of swimmers into the A-final races, helping lead the team to higher point totals.

Finals began with a second and third-place showing from Stanford on the diving platform, as Daria Lenz totaled 273.05 points for a runner-up showing.

Morgan Tankersley and Megan Byrnes then tried their hands at the 1,650-yard freestyle, as the duo finished third and fourth respectively.

Stanford's first win of the evening came from Erin Voss, as the senior claimed first in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:52.79. She was joined by a bevy of scoring Cardinal, as Stanford took five of the top-six times in the race.

Amalie Fackenthal finished as runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle, before it was Stanford on top again, this time in the 200-yard breaststroke. Zoe Bartel improved upon her collegiate best in the event, touching the wall in 2:08.18, finshing ahead of fellow Cardinal Forde (third) and Allie Raab (sixth).

Stanford's final win came from Katie Drabot, who punched her ticket with an NCAA A-cut time of 1:54.14 in the 200-yard butterfly, an event in which she's finished top-five at the national meet twice in her career. The Cardinal finished the meet with a second-place finish of 3:15.69 in the 400-yard freestyle relay, giving Stanford 1,309 points, ahead of host Texas A&M's 1,098.5.

The Art Adamson Invitational concludes team action for Stanford this fall, but several members of the program, both current and former, will compete at the Toyota U.S. Open, starting Dec. 4. The rest of the Cardinal get back in the pool for a dual meet vs. Arizona State at home on Jan. 24.
