Abas Wins in Reno

RENO, Nev. - Wrestling unattached, true freshman Jaden Abas captured the 149-pound title at the Reno Tournament of Champions on Sunday.

Abas posted a 5-0 record en route to his first tournament win. He edged Campbell's Mason Smith 6-4 in the semifinals before defeating Wyoming's Jaron Jensen, 10-6 in the finals.He is now 12-4 overall on the season.

Stanford is back in action on Thursday against Drexel at 5 p.m. The dual will be held at Mott Gym in San Luis Obispo, California.
